Deep Tissue Massage helps with chronic muscular pain and tension, as well as with injury rehabilitation, by affecting the sub layer of musculature and fascia.  It is generally recommended for those with chronic soft-tissue pain, stubborn tension, the very physically active, or for those who have sustained injury.  It is generally described as intense, and open communication with the therapist throughout the session is imperative.

Swedish Massage uses a combination of gentler strokes, kneading, and tapotement to increase circulation.  Benefits include general relaxation, decreased swelling, and more effective healing of injuries.

Myofascial Release and Trigger Point Therapy involve both passive and active manipulation of fascia, and compression on trigger points to release chronic and acute tension and pain, and to increase range of motion.  Open communication with the therapist throughout the session is imperative.

Cupping Therapy involves the use of cups applied to the body, using negative pressure within the cup to create a vacuum.  This vacuum gently pulls the skin, muscle tissue and fascia up and away from bone, creating space for better circulation and compressed nerves, and softening and releasing muscle tissue. Account for 90 minute sessions when cupping is incorporated, and drink plenty of water before and after each session.

CBD Oil and Salve can increase the benefits of therapeutic massage by decreasing inflammation and pain, and offering a deeper sense of relaxation.  CBD, or Cannabidiol, is a naturally occurring compound that is found in many plants, but most richly in the Cannabis plant.  Although the same plant family as marijuana, CBD is extracted from hemp, and does not have any of the psychoactive effects of THC rich marijuana.  By using both a CBD oil for the full massage, as well as focused work with a CBD concentrate salve on a specific problem area, clients can enjoy the benefits of deep overall relaxation, as well as pain management.
